Building This New Chapter in Real Time

Recently, I had the privilege of giving the commencement speech at my hometown high school.

The same tiny town. The same church ladies who raised me. The same stage that probably created this entire personality problem in the first place.

And without a shadow of a doubt… I knew this is what I’m supposed to be doing.

Over the past year, opportunities keep showing up that I never expected: performances, speaking invitations, new audiences, newspaper features, and rooms full of strangers somehow becoming a community for an hour at a time. Every time I step on stage, I feel more alive.

My goal is simple: I want to build rooms where people laugh hard, loosen up a little, and remember they’re not the only exhausted humans trying to hold everything together.

To everyone who has been following along, coming to events, and sharing these moments—thank you for being here while I build this weird, wonderful new chapter in real time.
