Mother’s Day is May 10! Making plans with moms in your life? Consider bringing your crew to a comedy show at the Library! Sheila K Chester brings an hour of comedy and storytelling about Midwest casseroles, purity culture aftershocks, and the plot twist of spending your life running from church… only to end up working in one and becoming a church lady. Add in infertility, marriage, parenting, and an all-women river trip where she tried to learn how to “chill” (with mixed results), and you’ve got a night that’s heartfelt, a little feral, and wildly relatable. PG-13 humor.
